In my opinion all softwares are best. I am using Avast. This software is good for my PC. I have no idea on Norton and Nod32. Can any one give a brief information on these softwares. Thanks for sharing.

Regards

The eternal question

Try them all and you'll see what is the best for you!

For my part Nod32 with Outpost firewall works great ^_^

Ouch fumia, deepfreeze seriously impedes normal use of a system, I never find it useful for a normal user.

Yeah.. I tried it in the past... and there are only a few people/environments I would ever use it in/for.. It would be 'Politically Incorrect' to bring up those or list them.. huh hmmm.. :P

After going around'n'around testing several products..

I returned to use Online Armor Free as a firewall, and Avast 6 Free as AV ..

The best combo in my opinion,Avast just needs a lot of tweaking in it's settings and addings on exclusions to avoid

all the false positives with eg. AutoIt compiled scripts..

So basically, all the directories where all my "tools" reside are ignored by Avast via exclusions,or else it would prompt

me to delete everything,as it says all of them are "infected".. :P

same i think for freeware.

I get 0 fp with avast

others give me around 30 fps.

I hope ESET 5 final will not give my pc any lag.

well u cant be safe just with a antivirus.. u also need a great piece of firewall.

im little of a security geek.

so for my safe on internet and such im having this

Kaspersky Internet security 12.

Zonealarm Firewall 2012

and Keyscrambler Premium

And HMA Pro VPN :)

so if u use my type of stuff :P u will be for sure 99,5 % secured.

____________________________________________________________________

i tried almost all AV´s here is my experience with them.

kaspersky - Great detection rate and disinfenction method. And protection over all ***** 5 stars

avg - Also Good detection rate but not as good as kaspersky, and the way of removing a virus insnt that effective if the virus is persistant. It is also getting ur pc slow..

norton-. Just dont use it. Crap as hell...

avira- great on detection rate. Bad at removing viruses.. And light on system

bitdefender - Gay since u get BSOD of it... and "ok" detection rate.

mse - if u use mse u dont know anything about security and u know nothing about warez...

GL getting better security
