Java Runtime Environment 7.0

<img src="http://www.nsanedown.com/images/logos/java.png" class="logo" alt="Java" title="Java" />The Java Runtime Environment (JRE) provides the libraries, the Java Virtual Machine, and other components to run applets and applications written in the Java programming language. In addition, two key deployment technologies are part of the JRE: Java Plug-in, which enables applets to run in popular browsers; and Java Web Start, which deploys standalone applications over a network. Users should install the 32-bit version if they are using 32-bit browsers. If you use both 32-bit and 64-bit browser interchangeably, you need a Java Plug-in for each browser. Hence you will need to install both 32-bit and 64-bit Java respectively.

Thanks for the share! :) Hopefully there will be some really awesome Java stuff out there to use, because of the simplification and making their work easier for devs...

In case the setup isn't installing, navigate to "Application Data\Sun\Java\jre1.7.0" and run msi manually.

I did a total Java 6 uninstall, removed every traces of it by manual registry scanning. And only then I installed the new version. No problems experienced here. Both 32-bit and 64-bit Java installed. :)

I used JavaRa to uninstall java 6

I did as you said, always crashes

Restored Windows with Acronis, uninstall java 6 with Total Uninstall

Java 7 working con FF :dance2:

The only difference with first, lacks antivirus (G Data 2012)and mode uninstall

I have a problem using Screengrab extension + FF5 +JRE latest versions.

Usually i am using Screengrab to capture websites. However, since it can capture flash based websites (it did so with FF3.6) i thought, it can capture them with FF5. That was wrong.

Because author seems dropped development i read JRE 6 Update12 can fix that. That was indeed true, it fixes that prob, but still it is not good version on my system.

Now i updated to JRE 7 and i still cannot capture flash based sites. However now i can use Youtube Uploader, that was not possible before. I am sure, there are many capturing extensions for FF, but none of them can capture flash.

Any ideas?

The official bank transfer sites (here) have not updated so the use of java 7.0 is not accepted with them for now.

Try FastStone Capture.. I have successfully been able to capture everything ..It isn't directly used as an extension in FF but does everything and has its own optimizer and editor..May check Mozilla Addons Site if its a prerequisite..Love FastStone however.. :)
