Here is something that will serve as good breather from the ongoing Android chaos that is fast taking over the tinsel town of tech gadgets. Lenovo has introduced the IdeaPad P1, a Windows tablet, which bears striking resemblance with the Android IdeaPad K1 tablet. The 10.1inch tablet here boasts of a 1,280x800-pixel multitouch display, webcam, a 1.5GHz Intel processor and integrated Intel HD graphics among others. The tablet either comes with a 32GB or 64GB of SSD storage and up to 2GB of RAM.

There is also a choice with respect to the OS here- you can select from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Professional. The list of connectivity option is sparse with just one USB 2.0 port, a microSD card reader, a SIM card slot for optional 3G, and a docking port. It weighs around 1.79 pounds and its two-cell battery keeps the tablet alive for good 6 hours on a single charge. Price is yet to be known, but it is expected to hit stores in Q4 his year.
