Am I stupid or what ?

It` s not a matter of stupidity here - you only need to be careful - go to Download Comodo Internet Security Pro - the installer it`s for 32/64 , 1 year license B)

(the download page was posted by Freddyfre)

Thank you... but I was talking about the Comodo Internet Security Free Version, not the 1 year license version.

Basically, where exactly is this file in Comodo webpage? cispremium_installer_x64.exe

Thank you,

Gonzalo

EDIT: Although the webpage says "32-bit Windows", I guess the cispremium_installer.exe is for 32/64bit editions because the installer creates the folder in "C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\" (not Program Files x86) and the file size is 59.8MB, bigger than 34.7MB (x86) and 36.9MB (x64).

Yes, you are right, on the Comodo`s Internet Security Free version`s page it`s not very clear if there is any X64 bit version - you are presented an option to download an installer (Size: 60MB (62,419,528 bytes)) - and only searching on Firewall`s page or Antivirus`s page you see (and understand) that the installer ~60MB is 32/64bit , X32bit installer is ~ 35MB and the installer for only X64bit is ~37MB . B)

Yes, it's not very clear but I agree with you, the 60MB installer is 32/64bit. (although the webpage says 32bit)

Thank you very much

This last version I didn`t tested yet , but I must say to you that I installed older versions (5.0...) on really low end comp. ( P3 proc., 512MB RAM ) and I didn`t notice any problems caused by CIS .

Mmm nope, it didn't slow the performance at all.

I always have NOD32 Antivirus + Outpost Firewall Pro but I was a bit tired of them.

I always wanted a firewall + antivirus suite to avoid incompatibility issues but I couldn't find a good one that works for me.

I tried ESET Smart Security and Agnitum Outpost Security Suite Free but I didn't like them. (especially Agnitum)

After searching for "best firewall" pages and polls, in the majority of them Comodo software took the first place.

I installed this suite yesterday and I'm very happy, it's really good and FREE, no cracks or serials needed.

My 0.02

All these security suites will slow down the PC they're installed on, sometimes even on a pretty noticeable level. But if you have a good PC (something like a quad with 4 GB RAM+ and a SSD), the performance impact will probably be minimal...
