Administrator DKT27 Posted November 6, 2011 Administrator Share Posted November 6, 2011 Restart it. Just two clicks, Firefox button > Restart, and it will restart your Firefox will all the tabs that were there before restarting, and less memory. :) Also, checkout the addons you use, what you are saying shouldn't normally happen. unknownasphyxiated
Memoryfox not working in real time but working periodically Added Auto-Restart when Working-Set memory has reached a set threshold in the Options dialog. This option only works with ( Activate Memory Fox – Browser Only ) mode i use it with cleanmem because cleanmem can clean both memory and cache or just use cleanmem would be enough
madeinheaven
I am disappointed with Firefox they are having version after another version but about memory usage as high as before ridicules amount of memory leaks. That is one of the biggest Firefox disadvantage for a long time.
SacredCultivator
@shajt: Hehe yeah that's what I recently tried from my original post. I don't think 64bit of the Nightly is the issue... Since I know when I flip on Memory Fox nothing changes in terms of Memory Usage. >< Shall give "Cleanmem" a shot. Nvm, thought it was a FF Add-on. Don't really want to opt to really install a seperate program. - - - - - Noticed the version I was using wasn't the latest. Updated to 7.5.3 but no difference.
