toyo
This easy-to-use Windows application uninstaller makes your computer run more efficiently by removing software and files that were left behind after you uninstalled software that you no longer use. In addition, the program performs a number of cleanup activities, making your computer more secure.Very few software programs uninstall completely from your computer. Among the things left behind are unnecessary folders, obsolete files, and graphics that will never be used. In addition, there are often items placed in the Windows Registry that are not welcome, as well as spyware and other programs that threaten the security of your computer. Advanced Uninstaller PRO can uninstall all of these files, folders, and programs. Uninstalling a program is as easy as selecting its name from a list, or dragging and dropping a file or a shortcut on the Advanced Uninstaller PRO desktop icon.Note: This program can monitor installations on your system, that means when you uninstall, there's no leftovers... at all. This will keep your Windows clean and un-bloated. I also use it when I install something that i don't trust 100%, so I can undo the changes made to my system and escape unharmed... :)HomepageDownload

SacredCultivator
Hmm of all these installers.. what is preferred? I mean I use Your Uninstaller 2k7, but I still find traces (At least I think so) after uninstalling something...
jalaffa
The ultimate uninstaller is a Windows reinstall. I do it maybe 3-4 times a year. The real precious data (e-mails, firefox&IE data) I find easily transmitted to a new system using BackRex.Software.Outlook.Backup.But I'm using Your Uninstaller in between. Advanced Uninstaller became to bothersome for me. I mean - testing new software all the time, the feature of logging those installs became. toyo
if you do updates on a regular basis, it's not recommended at all to use the monitoring feature... as jfe said.if you are just a regular guy installing new software from time to time only when you need it and have no insights in the windows registry, this come in handy, also when you work with dangerous stuff and want to see what modifications the app made to your system
