ToolBox is an application launcher for Windows operating systems with many amazing features. Easy to install, you can get going in minutes. Its drag & drop interface creates shortcuts to almost anything; applications, drives, folders, even simple files.

The first version of ToolBox was written many years ago as a 16-bit application. Since then many features have been added to it, in order to maximize its usefulness. It helps you organise your desktop and get rid of numerous shortcuts that take up valuable space on it.

Finally, ToolBox does not need installation. All you have to do is unzip the distribution files on a directory and run the executable. Upgrading your operating system does not affect it. Moving it to a different folder is never a problem. To uninstall you just delete the directory you created for the first run.

ToolBox does not come with any icons apart from some basic ones. There are though plenty of websites that offer free icons for personal use which you can to customize your ToolBox shortcuts. One of our favorite places for icons is the IconFactory with a huge collection of quality freeware icons.

GlobeSaver

A beautiful utility that shows you an equirectangular image of the globe, with the night and day areas. This utility is written as part of a windows screensaver, which is still under development. You can use it though to see how the globe looks at any time today, in the future or in the past!

The images used are 1024x512 resolution, you'll need at least 1024x768 and over 16-bit color depth to enjoy it at its most!
