<img src="http://www.nsanedown.com/images/logos/strokeit.gif" class="logo" alt="StrokeIt" title="StrokeIt" />StrokeIt is an advanced mouse gesture recognition engine and command processor. What is a mouse gesture? Mouse gestures are simple symbols that you "draw" on your screen using your mouse. When you perform a mouse gesture that StrokeIt can recognize, it will perform the "action" associated with that gesture. In short, it's a nifty little program that lets you control your computer by drawing shapes with your mouse.

No update since... 4 January, 2010. Anyway it's a nice tool. Thnx! :) Btw. I'll be glad if someone find some software/driver to laptop touchpad (new) that give some stuff from apple touchpad. I know that Synaptics make some work, but... It's lame. I need something more powerful with multigestures. If anyone hear about soft like that it will be cool if you post it here. :) I'll give you +1!

Development is very hard for small, independent ventures like tcbmi.com (which hosts StrokeIt). Add to that the relative lack of interest (most of people don't use even the simplest gestures in browsers) and you get the slow release cycle. But these forums are here not only to bring you, the members, the latest software, but also to give a virtual helping hand to small and bright devs that aren't greedy and could use some assistance, so their quality apps survive among the giants.

Since the changelog is not yet updated, here are the latest changes:

.9.7 - 4 January, 2010

two versions pro and personal

Exclusive Pro Features:

- Lua Scripting Engine for creating powerful but simple scripts and macros

- Mouse control plugin for controlling the mouse cursor

- Support for mice with 4 and 5 buttons

Fixes (all versions):

- Fixed all known crashes

- Fix crash on "Internet - Open Website" when default viewer is setup incorrectly

- Fix sending single alphabetic keys using 'hotkeys'

- Fixed crash when right clicking in 'empty space' command editor window

- Fixed: Problems defining "Modifier only" hotkeys

- Fixed: The Run Browser/Email commands now properly detect the default program on Vista/Win7

Changes (all versions):

- The Run command will only run programs and will not open files or folders. You can still run the associated program and pass it a command line to open the file or folder.

- 'Minimize' command uses a new, safer, method of minimizing windows.

- Plugins and Language files can now be loaded from user profile

- Added support for newest Google Chrome

.9.6 - 16 June, 2009

- Support for Windows Vista and Windows 7
