Process Lasso 5.0.0.19

Process Lasso improves system performance, responsiveness, and stability during high loads through dynamic adjustments to process priority classes. It can also automatically terminate undesired processes, apply default priorities and CPU affinities to processes, limit the number of instances a process can have, and log all processes. It is not a task manager replacement, but does have task manager like capabilities to compliment its primary functions. Process Lasso runs on all editions of Windows 2000, XP, 2003, 2008, Vista, and Windows 7.

Thanks to Nima for the update.

Guys, Patch still works on all platforms, for who that the patch did not worked for them, try to reinstall the software and remove all configurations and then use a fresh installed and then apply patch.

The patch doesn't work for me either. I've been trying to figure out why, although I'm not a programmer.

What I see is the Patch, patches all files it's supposed to patch except "ProcessLasso.exe".

I don't know why this happens. I'm using Windows 7, 32bit. :frusty:

@biglo: Did you shut down the program first? If you did not, then the patch does not work, from reinstalling I meant remove the program through the uninstaller and then manually delete files and folders in ProgramData and AppData (Local and Roaming) in user data and then cleaning the registry to clean the traces and then install a new one.

Try this method, if you could not patch the program.

@Nima Followed your suggestion closely, this is what i did: using uninstaller from control panel to uninstall, during the process, clicked on yes to delete config & user data. After uninstallation, manually searched for the remaining files, only found an empty "processlasso" folder under ProgramData and didn't see anything else under AppData nor Program Files, used regedit to look for anything related to Process Lasso (searched for "processlasso", "process lasso", "bitsum") found one under name processlasso and deleted it.

Install 5.0.0.17 and unchecked "launch process lasso" during installation, and after installation, used task manager to check the processes and made sure nothing related to process lasso is running and applied the patch, still not working though...

using patch provided by mires worked right away.

3th update today? lol

Guys, you don't need to uninstall PL, just remove all .bak files form the install dir (C:\Program Files\Process Lasso), before install new version.

Btw, does anyone know how to hide Actions Log window completely from the main page?

Hi guys, i'm new to the forum. What could I do to apply the patch? ( Install PL and then run patch.exe ??? ). Forgive my ineptitude, but it's the first time! ( Like a virgin! )
