Anteus Posted October 23, 2007 Share Posted October 23, 2007 Ubuntu does not eat much RAM, but! if you have a ATI graphic card don't mess with the drivers or try to manualy install em :POn my machine with DDR400 1GB Ubuntu (newest), Firefox (6tabs, 7addons), Gmailnotifier, TED, Skype, Pidgin and Compiz Fusion enabled it uses 360 MB RAM of 1GB = 36%!Edit: BTW... Beryl have fused with Compiz and they became Compiz Fusion :rolleyes:, and Compiz Fusion is installed by default installed in Ubunut Gutsy Gibbon 7.10!
