thylacine
Process Lasso v5.0.0.0 betahttp://www.bitsum.com/files/beta/prolasso.ziphttp://www.bitsum.com/files/beta/prolasso64.ziphttp://www.bitsum.com/changelog/pl/changes.htmThis build has a large assortment of changes and fixes. This time I didn't document them too well, as it has been over a large period of time and I frankly grew tired of documenting every small change. Instead, I focused on trying to get this out the door. One slightly disappointing note is that not all planned issues have been addressed, therefore this is not RC1. Instead, it is another beta. The disk/file cache purge feature is still temporarily disabled as I noticed a malfunction during testing on some NT platforms that I need to iron out. It shouldn't be a big deal, but I don't want to enable it half-assed. Some reported bugs may remain, other will be fixed. There are still a few small ones on the list, and a few improvements I've not gotten to. One of the issues compounding this unusual delay in new builds has been an over-obligation to address too much at once. I had reports of continued problems with NIS 2011 SONAR, but I have not been able to reproduce that at all. This was something I addressed in the last final. If using the last stable build, switch to the beta and all should be well. I will continue testing on some other platforms though to be sure. As a side note, Norton's interface is almost game-like ;p.New versioning rules To avoid confusion I've now decided to adopt a less unique set of versioning rules. The next version will be named v5.0.0.0 RC1 BETA. Eventually it will traverse to 5.0.0.x final. This is in contrast to the version naming that would have called the pre-final builds v4.9.9.x beta. Versions will be incremented based on their level of changes, with no limit on the minor version numbers (e.g. 5.0.42.75 is possible).
