If the "rumors" are false, then what exactly is true? Does anybody have info on what's really happening with them?

Torrentfreak reports that Demonoid's trackers are back online at the same IP address, no less, so it would appear their ISP did not pull the plug. Some are suggesting a hardware problem, which, at this point, would have to be my suspicion, as well. The homepage is still down, but I am hoping within a couple days it will also return to us.

http://www.thecircuitbox.com/demonoid/ reports about the CRIA appear to be false.

"So again the site is down and still slightly functional. All the current rumors are false until we can confirm wihtout a doubt what is going on. The only person who knows is Deimos. Deimos has a life and intends to live it which means Demonoid.com will be down until spare time is made and Deimos fixes it. If you need other sites check out the others: Mininova, ISOhunt, ThePirateBay, Suprnova, Eztvefnet, PureTnA, PussyTorrents. Good Night and Enjoy!" quoated from the above link/

We received a letter from a lawyer represeting the CRIA, they were threatening with legal action and We need to start blocking Canadian traffic because of this. If you reside in Canada, that is the reason you are being redirected to this message. Thanks for your understanding, and sorry for any inconvenience.
