Ambrocious
As I stumbled out personally looking for programs which work like Mielophone, I of course already knew about Mulve which is dead and gone (RIP) and there is of course The Pirate App that still is around and half functioning, I came across a website that was rather suspicious in it's going on's. Mielophone which was much like Mulve on steroids had the ability to connect into VK.com which allows it's users to upload any number of songs to listen to and share with other VK.com members. Desktop applications like the now doomed Mulve and the still working Mielophone would be able to stream OR download a phenomenal amount of music at lightning speeds from VK.com. The large volume of songs from VK.com was the most attractive aspect of Mulve and Mielophone, even being able to find indie label artists that legal music service websites could not acquire. And so today as I swept the interwebs and I found this website:MP3drug.com offers music much like any other online music search and streaming website but it has one different trait about it that links it to a few desktop applications such as The Pirate App, Mulve (RIP), and Mielophone. After personally doing some research, the same exact search results (however not as organized) show up on mp3drug.com as they would in Mielophone. This tells me that websites have taken the plunge into the world of backdoor music engagement from VK.com as well. I see this as yet another asset to the world wide community and a great alternative place to listen to music. I recently sent a message to mp3drug.com on how they manage to connect into the backdoor of vk.com (not expecting ANY sort of response to be honest) and I am hoping to learn how this is done. The music industry and the powers that be may try to stop the revolution on a free and open internet but finding websites like mp3drug.com shows that the revolution carries forward in cyber space, still very much winning.
