How do you know it is malicious? and how should I go about removing it?

All av's detect it as a virus! Uninstall it checking the box at Hijackthis log! and using delete function!

I'm using KIS2011, Malwarebytes, and trojan remover, and none of these are detecting it as a virus.

Not saying your wrong, just wondering why that would be?

So should I use the conduit uninstaller or just use the 'fix selected' option in hijackthis? Im guessing hijackthis.
