Media Player Classic Home Cinema 1.5.1.2903

Media Player Classic Home Cinema is a rewriten version of Windows Media Player 6 which was then open sourced and released under the GNU GPL. The interface is similar to the MS original but is a little more up-to-date, XP friendly, comes with some more advanced features, and doesn’t have the annoyances of the original. But probably the best thing about this player is the range of formats it supports. It'll play just about anything you throw at it, whether it's an MP3, an Ogg, a WMA, even a QuickTime file. Media Player Classic - Home Cinema application was designed to be a Media Player Classic but for homecinema usage.

Thanks to thylacine for the update.

Mine is the "latest" that xvidvideo had "1.5.1.2959", but was just wondering if ther emay be another link that updates it as frequently as they did.

Not a big deal, given that I only grab the player itself and not the codecs it comes with. And sadly, CCCP just doens't update their codecs as often as let's say K-lite, can't blame them. They seemt o be attached to their matching dates plan, 9-9-9, 10-10-10, so I guess this year may be 11-11-11 ><. Not even a Beta to try out at the moment.

Oh well, shall just wait on the official releases for the time being I guess ^^

@SacredCultivator:

You sure are an update junkie 2lbz2xg.png

As for me, I just update every 50 or 100 builds.

^I sure am. It's just a thing to want to be very up to date with the software I use.

CCCP doesn't need to be updated so often, I'm fine with 1 release per year tbh, regressions happen a lot in the world of codecs, etc. And MPCHC from CCCP is a special patched build, and already pre-configured. Everything works perfectly fine so why bother? K-Lite sucks big time, bloatware.
