Bolt_Gundam510
ATLANTA -- Baggy pants that show boxer shorts or thongs would be illegal under a proposed amendment to Atlanta's indecency laws. The amendment, sponsored by Atlanta city councilman C.T. Martin, states that sagging pants are an "epidemic" that is becoming a "major concern" around the country.Martin said he doesn't want young people thinking that being half-dressed is the way to go.But not everyone supports Martin's idea. feel it's sad the city has to come in and take control of our kids when we can't," said Atlanta resident Joseph Scott.American Civil Liberties Union Georgia president Debbie Seagraves said the proposal is too vague and would unfairly target African-Americans."We're going to do that in a society that has already criminalized young black youth to the point (that) we already have hundreds of black men in prison," Seagraves said. The proposed ordinance would also bar women from showing the strap of a thong beneath their pants. The proposal states that "the indecent exposure of his or her undergarments" would be unlawful in a public place. It would go in the same portion of the city code that outlaws sex in public.Martin said the penalty would be a fine.Source: CBS 46 News

Bolt_Gundam510
Thank God, someone has the right mind to implement a good law.when i was in high school just about every black person in there had there paints down to there knees, well what i would do was walk up behind my friend who had his paints hanging down like that, i would just yank them down even futher down to his ankles. then he would be struggling to pull them up while trying to catch me. masterripper
Geez, it's about damn time, goddamn, i hate the way (most) black ppl dress, i mean, come the hell on, for one, they always try and dress the way their favorite rappers dress (which looks plain silly), secondly, they always (like explained in the article) have their pants hanging to their fucking knees, which has to serve as some kind of a risk, for example, (and this'll sound silly) i went to Busch Gardens one time, and i was waiting to get on the kumba (a roller coaster), well the train pulls into the station, the harnesses come up, then this one guy (with his pants down to his knees) goes to get off, and it turns out his pants were hanging so low, that the pants actually got stuck inbetween some kind of gear, hahaha, we were laughing our ass of, he was stuck 10-15 minutes in a seat because his pants were stuck, lol, i mean seriously though, why do they want to wear them like that, do they think a girl is gonna see a guys pants hanging so low that they're going to start sucking them off? Oh, and it's even worse when you see those "wiggers" dressing like that. They also need to do something about those damn dresses.... err i mean shirts that they wear, fucking shirts are so long it looks like a damn nightdress. Bleh, anyways i hope they also do this in Florida (where it's just as bad in some places).P.S Why the fuck do black ppl call themselves african-americans, if they live in America, then doesnt that make them American (rhetorical question)? Why do black ppl always feel the need to seperate themselves from the rest of America by calling themselves African-American? Ahh well, that concludes the end of my little rant. ghost
I agree with you guys that its ugly to have your pants down to your knees. Whats really sad are some white guys are doin it, too now thats really sad. But thats not the point here, the point is do you really want your freedom to be controlled by the government. that sounds alot like communism. Why do black ppl always feel the need to seperate themselves from the rest of America by calling themselves African-American? Ahh well, that concludes the end of my little rant.Maybe because white america didnt make them feel part of the whole america at a certain time remember....Next stop : both Amish and orthodox Jews have are not allowed to wear their hats anymore, cause its just not what the american majorityaproves.
