frontpage load times

yeah, i've been doing a bit of tweaking to the engine for the frontpage. i was wondering what kind of load time you guys get for these 3 pages...

1. PAGE 1

2. PAGE 2

3. PAGE 3

you can tell how long page loads take by the 'execution time' at the very bottom of the page. please let me know, it should only take a whole 2 minutes out of your life ;)

thanks in advance ;)

I am sharing my line tho, but the other person is just browsing so shouldn't cause that much of a difference

Sites look great nsane. Keep it up..load times aren't a problem. Although i received a "server too busy" message for the forums. Do you actually need to put a server load limit on the forums?

yeah, if the CPU usage goes over 10.0 the forum goes offline. the frontpage however, is limited by phpadmin...so it shouldn't have as much of a problem (it is still limited however)

i've contacted the host about the issue, who stated they had a few site(s) that were draining resources (poor coding). they have contacted the owners and requested they move to a better hosting account/server. so, it should hopefully be solved shortly :P

not much, ~$10/mo for this host. but, the site doesn't require the bandwidth and space of the file servers...it has plenty tho

the host said they're planning on buying a better, 2x 3GHz Opteron, server at which i'd be moved too. so we shouldn't have a prob for much longer :)

yeah, it's another site on the server. either they have a poorly coded site or they're running a really intensive cron multiple times a day. the host wouldn't tell me exactly what was causing it, but they were hinting at something along those lines

CPU usage seems to be normalized now (0.34) :)

Is 92Hosting your host? Do they allow hashlinks to be hosted on their servers? Interested.

The forum is not hosted by 92hosting :D

But the front page is? I'm guessing they have a policy against warez then?
