vin3e Posted July 25, 2007 Share Posted July 25, 2007 Well. I tried the solutions offered by JK Defrags which were to download the pagefile defrag from the M$ website. However, whenever i used it, it would tell me that the page file is in 1 fragment and it did not need to be defragged, or the Page file could not be found.Is there any way to defrag the page file on Vista home Premium offline? I cant seem to get UltDefrag to defrag offline. Assuming offline defragging actually defrags the pagefile. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Anteus Posted July 25, 2007 Share Posted July 25, 2007 The thing with offline defrag is (I think) that Vista has something called Boot Optimization, you have to turn it off to run offline defrag (dialog to turn off (that I've seen) in UltimateDefrag (nothing about put it on(a visit to Google should do)).
