Zeus_Hunt
Bing wants to make your holiday brighter and say thanks with a free song download.Essentially, no less than half a million songs can be downloaded free of charge via Bing as the Redmond company announced the introduction of the Microsoft Bing Holiday Song Giveaway. While wishing users a Happy New Year, the software giant has set up a unique promotion designed to allow up to 500,000 people to download just as many songs using Bing Music. The only caveat of the promotion is that the Redmond company is ready to offer only a single free song per user, and only to people that are residents of the United States. “As the year comes to an end, we want to thank everyone for their support- with a song. No, we're not serenading you (yet) – it's a free song download. But hurry, the giveaway only lasts until midnight New Years' Eve,” a member of the Bing team revealed. “Limit one (1) mp3 song download per person/authorized e-mail account holder up to a maximum value of $1.29 per song download. Offer ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on 12/31/10 or while supplies of 500,000 downloads last, whichever occurs first,” reads an excerpt of the Official Terms & Conditions of the Microsoft Bing Holiday Song Giveaway. Users who want to grab a free song from Bing need to visit the Giveaway page, and provide their email address. Microsoft will send them an email with their personal song code along with the instructions necessary to grab the freebie. Users need to be aware of the fact that by offering their email address they automatically also subscribe to the Bing newsletter. “In order to redeem the mp3 song download, participants will be directed to Bing.com/music to select a song download through Amazon.com. “If a participant does not already have an Amazon.com account, they will be required to set one up (Amazon.com accounts are free to set up.) Song download codes must be redeemed by 11:59 p.m. PT on January 24, 2011 or they expire,” Microsoft added.Bing Me
