uTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little cpu, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients. With uTorrent, you can download files faster and contribute by sharing files and bandwidth. Additionally, uTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange.

Thanks to SacredCultivator for the update.

An alpha update finally. With nice features. ^_^

Too bad they still haven't fixed the bugs I've reported. :P

@DKT27: Just happy to see an update if anything, as it's been well over a month since the last update.

Hmm, I don't keep up with the forums too much over there but what problems have you reported/experienced?

This is the thread. I did forget one or two bugs, just got to them and then forgot again. :frusty:

I definitely hate the 3rd one you mentioned. That ticked me off soooo much int he past. Although it hasn't occurred for me in quite a lot of the past releases.

As far as I remember, the previous update did that.

Remembered another bug. The alpha versions never respect the upload limit or cap, dunno the right word. The max my connection can allow is 25KB/s. I set the limit to 10KB/s when downloading. While doing so, my torrent keeps on uploading as if there are no upload limit set.

Oh werid... Never really tested the Upload Cap., since most of the time I just have them running at max.

Correction. It doesn't even respect the download rate limit cap. Set it to 110KB/s but it was downloading at 120KB/s + 5KB/s overhead, the max my connection allows. What's odd here is, all the previous major alpha versions I've used (2.0 alpha, 2.2 alpha, and now 3.0 alpha), all of them had the same problem. Somehow it always got fixed in the final versions.

Hmms, hehe, guess that means you'll have to wait till final for that to get fixed. Given you said it's a reoccuring thing throughout the Alpha phase.

I did try going back to the 2.2 beta. But somehow it didn't show the green/blue downloading/finished progress bar on all the torrents.
