Norton Internet Security 2011 or F-Secure Internet Security 2011?

I use Norton Internet Security 2011 since it released and im happy with it but i red box wont update the trial reset in the future because he is too busy. So should i stick with F-Secure wich has a working patch&keygen and 6 months promotion serials or stay wit NIS 2011? I red that F-Secure is much heavier on system than Norton, is it true? Please help, thanks. :s

norton is much more lighter than f-secure. f-secure uses the bitdefender engine so it`s really a resource hog. they both have a good detection rate. it`s up to you to decide. if i were you i would choose norton. it`s just my opinion you don`t have to take my word for granted. you don`t need another version of norton. the current one works great. stick to it `till box gets back.

thanks, i will stay with norton, i have 103 days remaining from subscription. only thing that bothers me is that i cant access the settings since the update.

somebody wrote that box norton trial reset 3.0 beta works with the new version. should i uninstall norton, reinstall it and use the 3.0 beta trial reset?

Norton v18.5.0.125 + NTR v3.1.3 is unstable because after use NTR , Norton tamper protection is disable for ever.You can install NTR v3.0.0 Beta now because Norton Tamper protection is disabled yet.

See my instruction :

I find solution for NTR+Norton 18.5.0.125.This version crack with NTR v3.0.0 BETA but when use this crack you can't change theme.with this method u can change theme but u can't create account because NTR v3.0.0 BETA disable norton account.

Steps:

1- Install Norton 18.5.0.125.

2- Disable norton tamper protection.

3- Install NTR v3.1.3 and create account.

4- After installing that norton tamper protection disable yet then install NTR v3.0.0 BETA.

5-Computer automaticly restart.

6-After start up u can go to settings , customize your settings and change theme.

Another boring thing that is , when u want uninstall norton and then u want install that after a while , u must download 80MB again and again.with this method u can save update file and just copy it to directory that u copy it from that.

just copy this folder for future install:

go to c:/program data/norton/{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}/NIS_18.5.0.125 and copy "Definitions" folder.

I use norton and I like it :) I had it since ver. 2010 and I hadn't any problems

On my other computer, I use Norton internet Security. I use it because it has a behaviour blocker (SONAR), a strong antivirus/antispyware, it is really light on the system, game mode, etc. Mainly for SONAR. My recommendation is Norton but F-Secure is not bad either but it is heavier than norton
