Two men were later arrested.The airport was closed and passengers were cleared from the terminal building amid fears that it was a terrorist attack.The incident came as police in London continued to search for terrorists who planted two car bombs which failed to detonate in the heart of the capital.A spokesman for the airport's operators, the British Airports Authority, said emergency services were at the scene.He said: "A car is on fire at the entrance to the terminal and there is considerable smoke damage to the terminal. And you're right, I just had to look through some news sources. And regarding your point of view to put them to death, well that's biased and I really don't know if I'm pro or con but it doesn't matter, news tend to require some form of neutrality, granted that it's difficult to find news with such a criteria but a more neutral position is much more welcomed. Then a person can create their own conclusions and judgements regarding said issue.And yes, I know a bit about the car they found yesterday in London in time to defuse it. James Posted July 1, 2007 Share Posted July 1, 2007 John Lennon Airport (Liverpool) was also shut down yesterday after a suspicious car was spotted yesterday.Now, I live less than a mile from that airport and go there every Friday & Saturday morning to restock on after-party drinks and everytime Ive got a taxi they tell me the same thing "you see that car? its been in this car park for over a year!"I believe the car JLA Security found was one of their own Response Vehicles that was lost in the refurbishment of the place the bunch of inbred idiots.There was also alot of talk on Liverpool based forum's that there was an explosion in the city centre last night also, I'll update with any new info asap.
