Babylon Crack has stopped working!

I am having trouble applying the patch - I copy it over to the install directory, and I run it as administrator, but still it says that there is no file to patch?

i found a solution! (but not a convenient one. The problems come from the file 'BabAll.dat' ( c: document and setting/all user/application data/babylon) which is 11kb before babylon stop working and 14kb after that. What u need to do is to replace the 14kb BabAll.dat with the 11kb one. (Reinstall baby and re-crack it, quit the baby and copy that 11kb file.). It will work for a while. It's a little bit unconvenient because u need to do it again and again. But try! No better solution yet. Im still waiting for the new patch.

That's odd. I had the same problem, but the new patch is working for me, at least in case of 8.1.0 (r16).

1. Completely uninstall babylon.

2. Restart your computer.

3. Download and install the new version.

4. patch

P.S. If you have vista or 7, you must have admin rights.

i blocked babylon with my ESET Firewall. It is the only solution. :D

C:\Program Files (x86)\Babylon\Babylon-Pro\Babylon.exe (Babylon Information Tool)

1. I agree partly. Download Bablon.

2. Install it from setup with disabled internet connection.

3. Copy crack to installation folder.

4. Install all directories you need with even paid ones.

5. Block Babylon program. You don't need and third party firewall program. You can do it in Windows 7. Go to Control Panel, then click on Windows Firewall and Advance Settings. There on Inbound Rules you click New Rule on the right hand side and in Progam select program path and find Babylon.exe and click on the Block connection. I also done it for Outbound Rules but I'm not sure if you need it to be able to query online dictionaries because I don't need online results. Anyway, you can try it and if you fail you can uninstallit and delete Bablon folder in Program files and do it again and also block Outbound Rules.

6. Enable Internet connection.

It works perfectly for me.

I think all problems come from this BabAll.dat, so can anyone here make a crack for it? I think that just make it unchangeable? But I don't know how. Anyway, I'm not good at IT stuff.

It's working now. Here is what I did:

1. rename "BabAll.dat" to "_BabAll.dat_"

2. reinstall Baybelon 8.0 (without restart system)

3. configure Baybelon: change proxy setting, disable auto update, block firewall

4. double click on license file "ZWT.bof"

5. reinstall Glossaries

6. Everything is back to normal :)

If the above didn't work out for you then you should try this:

1. disable the internet connection

2. follow what is written above from 1 to 5 again

the following solutions have worked for me. babylon working since yesterday. fortunately, i had downloaded all the online dictionaries I use regularly prior to the license expiry so I have them all available for offline use

• connect through proxy/firewall with a random (non accessible) proxy server and a random port in the "connection" tab
  
• remove the check from "enable online updates" in the "connection" tab and
  
• "disable babylon globe" in the "Services" tab
  

Hey Work perfect to me just download the dic u use it's just 2 up to 5 M each..

no, i don't think so, I always use fake proxies in my babylon, and had always the update box unchecked, and it still find a way to connect thru internet and then broke the crack, so this solution doesn't work anymore.

No it's not fake, I used it for my Babylon 7, and it works perfectly, I didn't even block it from the internet, my conversion rates are updating regularly and the online dictionaries work fine.
