Did. The only odd thing this time is, I saw the driver's name on the BSOD, but the mini dump file has no mention about it.

EDIT: Got it. cfosspeed6.sys. As it was before.

Well.. I haven't gotten a BSOD.. in a VERY VERY long time..infact I haven't had one at all in Windows 7... and before that I don't even know... I did however find TWO entries for cFos on startup today.. removed one.. hope it starts correctly now.....LOL

It's quite normal for me now. I use cFosSpeed Final, and everytime I install a new version of Virtualbox, cFosSpeed driver gives me a BSOD. This time I bypassed the problem. :D. I used Process Hacker to disable the driver on reboot, rebooted, installed VB just fine, started the driver. :)

Come to think of it, would it had been OK if I had just stopped/started the driver without any reboots.

Well this will probably happen to me when I do this today.. first time with ver.6 of the cFos..

Guess what.. NO BSOD.. BUT I did however have a problem..When I installed, my system froze.. SO then I rebooted.. at which point when I started the installation again.. It said it was finishing it  Then I noticed that ESS had registered a new Internet connection. Thought nothing of it until.. I started getting popups ( firewall and HIDS ) for everything connecting.. and my system seemed to be slowing up a little.. - even dropped my connection because I denied Inbound traffic from the same IP Range as my own.. ( ISP ).. Anyway.. come to find out.. ALL of my settings for ESS.. where at default.. It had added two more connections to my router.. which I had to delete and did so again for another one.. and restore my settings...( thank God for a settings file... )

Then for whatever reason, My Event Viewer started logging Event ID 2... Something about Circular something something Logging... AT which point I had to do some searching to find out that Either I needed to rename the setup.etl in Panther folder in WINDOWS... or disable the Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adapter in my Device Management.. which stopped the logging...( 20 entries at a time ) OR disable IPv6 on the system or NIC..

As far as I am concerned this became problematic.. and much more problematic than I would have liked... I think someone REALLY needs to work on this program a little more... or if some other program truly IS responsible.. something should be done.. Usually not one to complain.. but this is irresponsible on someone's behalf somewhere..

Not one of the events above occurred until I installed/updated VirtualBox...after already having it installed on this system for several versions.. and not having this issue at all...

The problem is the Virtualbox networking driver. It installs a new connection on your PC named VirtualBox Host-Only Network and a VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter. This driver installation causes the problem with other softwares. It also have compatibility problems with ESET, I had to re-install ESET when I wanted to install it the last time. Seriously, Oracle sucks, none of these problems existed when Sun was in charge. -_-

The last update went fine.. 3.10 ..something I do not understand.. it should not be doing this...and I know about the Host-only thing.. What I am talking about is that it registered new connections with a 2 and 2 (2) added to the end of them.. to the Zones section of ESET.. which I had to manually remove... This one seems to be riddled with problems.. I would expect.. one or two more updates before its over..

Same happenned with me.

When i am fresh installing ESS and upgrading VBOX while cfos installed my system froze.

I restarted my system very painfully about 15 min.
