I went to download this.. and kept going in circles again.. BUT.. I went to the site.. and hit the first download link which sent me to a site.. to download.. THEN.. when I clicked the first Mirror they gave me.. It sent me to this link.. a page to download, which did not download anything.. ( except the following )

When I did .. ESS started going off and stayed there notifying me over and over, as I am guessing... this thing tried to drive by .JAR file me... or something..Seeing who else has this result.. For whatever reason it seems to have stopped on the site itself... Maybe an ad or something? trying to gets this in..

The download link on the frontpage is working perfectly fine here. Did you check your hosts file, changed your DNS, tried a proxy?

It downloads fine when using the download link provided by us. Discussion about links not working at other sites is a bit off topic.

it downloads just fine over at my end...I made triple sure it worked.....at first when I pasted the dl link without first placing it in the listing, yes, it redirected me to the fp..

if I placed it in IDM, it would download....after I placed it in the listing, and then clicked on dl, it downloaded

You having problems downloading it from here and there do suggest that the problem is local (your setup).

Well I did get the file from the second mirror that was posted at the Download.hr.. I usually do the other site.. FileBetaNews something...

Download.hr is one their official release sites/mirrors. There has never been a problem !!!! ;)

But you can't download at this moment apparently they are having problems....

CORRECTION: It did not download I got a 404 in DTA.. Iron downloaded it fine.. so its something with Firefox... on my end..

Are you having trouble too? ESET.. Web Protection is what stopped the .JAR.. the loop was there because of Firefox... Connections after that point I would understand if they were from the same domain.. or the file itself was detected but it wasn't..

I recently installed K Lite 6.60 in my old testing PC in which I had - again- recently intalled Comodo Firewall and it kept on warning me about different elements. Some of them could be used to gather screenshots of our desktop etc. Kaspersky has always warned me that there is a degree of danger- like PDM type of behaviour, but I believe it is all false positives. Anyway we could do some more further research.....What do you think Jalaffa and et al ?

The only one I ever had issues with.. was when I tried to install K-Lite Mega.. warnings would go off all over.. and my Security Center would become disabled..as for the file itself.. no issues.. K-Lite itself seems to be fine..

That JAR file is what I am interested in.. I just finished reporting the source in about 4 different places... quite a few methods had to be used to initiate that attack.. It follows suit of a drive-by..

Thinking about getting my LOIC...Yes.. it was a site unconnected to neither nsane, K-Lite, nor Download.hr....what a drive-by does.. sort of like DNS Poisoning.. which leads to Phishing/Pharming Attacks.. except your downloading a JAR file which uses the Java Machine to download more Trojans... ( sort of like prefetching files in the background outside of the body area of a page.. and runs ) instead of remaining in the same place it moves about from place to place.. Drive-by..... :dunno:

Please look at the changelog guys. This update only fixes Media Player Classic Home Cinema. So if you haven't installed it or using a different MPCHC, you will get that message.
