Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks and showing appreciation for the people in our lives. Well, the good ol' boys over at XDA have decided to show their thanks to the Android community with a little something we like to call "Mr. Blurrycam Photos."

The photos are of the unreleased Android 2.3 OS (aka Gingerbread) and the unreleased Samsung Nexus S superphone. Both are expected to launch in the coming weeks and have been highly anticipated, yet kept very hush hush. In the photos, you will see a glimpse of the re-skinned Android UI which now looks cleaner and less cartoonish. You will also see that a lot has been blacked out, leading us to believe that there are still some things that ever the anonymous image leaker isn't allowed to share with the world just yet.

The Nexus S phone seems to be extremely sleek. We've already seen it handled by Google CEO, Eric Schmidt, back at the Web 2.0 Summit, but these images emphasize just how thin and curvy Samsung managed to get it. XDA is reporting the following specs for the mysterious device:

  • ArmV7 CPU – Could be Dual Core
  • Open GL ES Supported
  • 512 or 328MB Ram (Not 100% known)
  • 1GB or 2GB Internal Memory (Not 100% known)
  • 800×480 Screen Resolution
  • 4″ Screen Size
  • SuperAmoled2 – Possibly
  • 720P HD Video

You can view the rest of the images in the gallery below. XDA says that they've got more coming, so keep checking back with them for more leakage.
