Fifth edition of D

Recommended Posts

A historical event took place on stage at the fifth edition of D: All Things Digital conference in Carlsbad, California, yesterday May 30, 2007. The video fragment embedded at the bottom is just the first part of a joint appearance by Microsoft Chairman and Co-founder Bill Gates and Apple's Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs. In the first lines, you will be able to hear and see Bill Gates confirm that he is in fact not fake Steve Jobs. And just to clear things up, fake Steve Jobs is the author of a blog impersonating Apple's CEO.

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs took to the stage together and believe me, it is a representation worth your time. The video embedded at the bottom is only the first part out of seven similar resources with the duo at D: All Things Digital. This and the rest of the videos, or the complete interview can be accessed at D: All Things Digital official website via this link, and just to make it simpler for you I am assuming that you watched the first one here so I am pointing you to the second.

A lot can be said about Gates and Jobs on the same stage together, but yesterday, the two played nice with each other and reminisced about the good old days. Yes love was in the air... And it is an entirely different perspective of the two rivals, as business partners instead of the most common representation I'm a PC vs. I'm a Mac. And just to give you a taste of what you will be able to see, Gates and Jobs talk about the first Windows software on Mac, they tackle the Get a Mac ads, and they even praise one another. Additionally, you will also be able to get an insight about the secret marriage between Gates and Jobs.

Enjoy, I know I did!
