It then optimizes data transfer by means of Traffic Shaping. Traffic Shaping is a method for optimizing the Internet traffic. It allows maximum speed while ensuring minimal Ping. You can use cFosSpeed with a router and/or a DSL-modem or cable-modem. You can also use cFosSpeed with other types of Internet access, ie. whenever you already have an existing Internet connection. cFosSpeed supports a wide variety of connections, like DSL, cable, ISDN, UMTS, etc.

Since the TR is not working, try this:

1. Open Notepad and copy the code below
   

   Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
   
   [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\cFos]
   
   [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\cFos\cFosSpeed]
   "Enddate"=-
   "regdata"=-
   
   [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\cFos\cFosSpeed\6.03]
   "LastDispDays"=-

   
   

2. Save the file as cfosspeed.reg or any name you prefer
   
3. Double-click cfospeed.reg once cFosSpeed expires
   
4. Reinstall cFosSpeed

I fixed mine by using:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\cFos]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\cFos\cFosSpeed]

"Enddate"=-

"regdata"=_

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\cFos\cFosSpeed\6.03]

"LastDispDays"=-

I guess the "regdata" was added.

Yikes, sorry about the typo. It did indeed work for me anyway :s I guess it fudged the line and reinstalling fixed it ..?
