KotaXor Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 It seem that recently, inserting u/p is facing numerous problem due to Eset.I guess the preferred method now is to use the trial fix.A few years ago, I was a staunch believer for fixes such as Nodlogin, Minodlogin and Nodenabler too.(even had an argument about which is the best fix - lost a few friends then....so sad!)Guess time changes my believe.Have been using the trial fix for the last one and a half year without a single issue....on my Windows 7 x64 (Eset AV Business Edition). AnkurJain Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 I can confirm that box, mara-fix 1.4 works with 5.0.65.0 Beta. After fixing with box mara 1.4 in normal more the pc crashes ( BSOD ). So did it in safe mode ... Though it fixes v4 but with v5 the egui crashes and won't start again :( ... so i removed the fix for a while .. haven't tried any other one though yet ... Anyone have same issues ? -Ankur I Haven't had BSOD's, but I continually randomly get issues with the starting of services like Hips and network protection services especially, with a pop-up message appearing at startup. If you see "waiting for installation to finish" then PureFix hasn't detected you are in safe mode. eqagunn Posted May 31, 2011 Share Posted May 31, 2011 Hi everyone, I need your help. I have a problem with NOD32 FiX v2.2 for NOD32 AntiVirus v2.70.39.0. I install the fix the standard way, and it ads nod_eval servers to the registry. After I reboot three more registry keys (big-number ones) are added to Scheduler. But when go to NOD32 Control Center and click on Update now, it cycles through servers for a few minutes after which it reverts custom servers to this: And of course, asks me for a password when trying to update. Does anyone of you knows why is this happening and how to fix it? It's been a long time since I used NOD32v2 and this fix, did something changed in the mean time maybe? It happened initially when I installed it after ESS installation. I then installed purefix before installing ESS and everything worked fine.(months ago) I have since tried to uninstall ESS and followed the instruction with purefix 1.52 and the problem with the graphics has returned.( Messed up text, toolbars etc)Thanks in advance.
