This version is completely uninstallable in my system. For IE, the installer crashes, but it shows that I have the correct version installed when I check. For Opera/Firefox, it installs "correctly" but when I do check the version number, I still have the old one installed.

I truly hate it when companies release such botched software and call it final. Can anyone confirm, please?

I assume you have Windows 7 x64? Even the hard XP fanatics gave in by now :P

Anyway, it seems that indeed there was a problem with the installers. Adobe uploaded a new version for the Opera/Firefox, which installs/works correctly now. However, the IE version still crashes after the install is complete, but it seems to be installed OK. This is the second time it happens to me with FP, and their forums are riddled with "Can't install FP" problems. It's probably related to some particular configurations, or to what other Adobe stuff you have already installed, and of course your OS. Can't tell for sure.

But thank you both for so quickly answering to me :) you should be on Adobe support team, as they didn't manage to answer to my post on their forums, yet...
