I have a windows 7 OS machine and the printer spooler service automatically turns it self off when I try to add a networked printer on it. I have restarted the service again many times but it turns itself off as soon I try to add the networked printer. I saw many pages on different sites having the same issue but no proper solution that works. I have tried clearing the printer spooler directory also, checking the dependency services, but with no luck. Some have even suggested this as bug carried over from vista (no confirmation from me).
