I would not use this as my main AV or as a cloud AV because its weak against Rogue Trojans. :/

+1... I wouldn't use for nothing it is worse than nothing (in letting you to believe, that you do have "a protection")

I've used this successfully on many computers and it has cleaned some trojans up. It finds just as much stuff as, if not more, than Norton, Mccrapee and Kaspersky, without turning your PC into a Pentium 1 with 2mb RAM.

It is heavier on resources than Avast. Avast can be installed (custom) with all shields except "file shield" and it has virtually no consumtion at all. Then just schedule file scans. I did this with the Internet Security version of Avast and now have web, spam, mail, script, p2p & behavior shields with a business class firewall. In reality the weight of antivirus programs is in the file shield scan. This checks everything, everytime you open or close anything! The highest detection rate and the lightest resource usage goes to Prevx 3.0.5.50 Nsane edition. It has realtime antivirus as well as web shield named "safe online". It is cloud based and amazingly fast with scans of 3 minutes or less. Since when has Microsoft made anything small, fast, and lightweight? Let me know I'm curious, Meow.

Since Windows 7, MS has done a better job with their software/OS offerings.

I've had to remove Avast from customers computers because their pcs were running to slow. Granted, they were older machines, but still, MSSE ran much smoother. With the every file accessed scan option on.

I'll look into that Prevx one. I have no experience with it.

It can really scan a heavily infected computer and catch most of the worst infections, in 3 minutes? Sounds like Hitman.
