San Andreas Error

D0GG

Recommended Posts

Ok I installed San Andreas but never got around to playing it untill tonight. But when I tried to load it, I get this error message:

gta_sa.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

The more info button shows this:

AppName: gta_sa.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: kernel32.dll

ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 0001eb33

The technical information page shows this at the bottom (I cant select the rest):

C:\DOCUME~1\D0GG\LOCALS~1\Temp\18dc_appcompat.txt

I know there's not a problem with the .exe file itself because I reinstalled it and even replaced it with a no-cd .exe file and it still wont work. I'm sure my pc can handle it, so I dont know what the problem is. ;) Any suggestions?!

Did you use the correct no-cd fix?

Have you tried mounting it to check it's not corrupt?

basicly, try renaming gta_sa.exe and if that don't work rename the video files :pissed:

also, make sure your windows username doesn't have a period in it (ie. My.Account) ;)
