KotaXor Posted August 6, 2010 Share Posted August 6, 2010 Finally decided to move mine to the middle of HP.Took a while as it move HP files out of the way.Did a consolidated defrag after that.So, how's it doing? :DI'm too lazy to restart my computer. :P But will do it sooner or later.I had the restart time of my laptop cut down from 52 sec to 49.But boot time is not the issue here though. It was 58 sec when I was using Diskeeper.Programs appear to load faster, but then again I am using Process Lasso to tweak running programs priority.With eBoostr caching too.Well....only thing I can say is....I am HAPPY with it. asianman6924 Posted August 6, 2010 Share Posted August 6, 2010 Just a heads up guys,I tested the FFF patch on my desktop running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and the patch crashes, but on my labtop running xp it worked fineThe crack by kojootti worked perfectly on my desktop.HUGE THANKS FOR BOTH TEAMS FOR THE FIXES, AND A HUGE THANKS FOR NSANEDOWN!!!oh and ps...I Have 2 hard drives on my desktop right now, one a 1.5 TB Western digital Green edition, and one 120gb mushkin SSDI know you are not suppose to Defrag ssds, but my friend said something about diskeeper released a program to defrag ssds?anyone confirm this, or tried it out?once again big thanks to nsanedown!! SSD does not store data like mechanical HDD which is why it does not require defragging. Even if there were a magical SSD defragger you should never use it, it will give you 0% performance benefit and just wear down your drive of its useful lifetime. All you need for an SSD is for it to support hardware TRIM function and an OS like Windows7 that supports TRIM natively that way it will optimise wear levelling of the drive and therefore prolong its useful life. Maybe Diskeeper or others just built a software to send the TRIM command to the SSD for OS like Windows XP/ Vista that don't support it natively, that would make more sense. However I tested yours and I know it works...FFF patch works but the registration information dialogue shows "Invalid License" so i try to fix that for fun & made my own patch for myself & win xp.(The os i use)When i saw some ppl have problem with FFF patch i released my patch & update it to work on 7 too.
