xpmule
my all time favorite is Paragon's partition manager. I've had problems with Acrois before and Paragons saved the day.plus i like the gui and options.. it can be as simple as needed or advanced as needed.the volume explorer it has built in is pure magic. i recently had bad drive corruption on a broken driveand my partitions were screwd up and i couldn't get teh partitions fully repaired no matter what.So i loaded Pagain partition manager and opened the volume explorer tab and it enumerated the folders in all the partitionsnothing else would access and i could select any and all file i wanted to Export and full speed with out doing any 8/10 hrs scanas all recovery software does. I *almost got the partitions repaired with testdisk but sector offsets were corrupt and overlappingand i had no way to really find the correct info anymore after so many repair attempts with various recovery tools. The point was i could extract files while KEEPING directory structures from ANY partition type even if so damaged it wouldn't mount in windows etc. This feature also worked for ALL partition types so you can pull files from a nix or apple partition onto your windows desktop in seconds..So when i want to CREATE a partition i use Paragon's stuff .I also can verify it creates properly aligned partitions for Advanced format drives and Paragons Alignment tool is great tooi found the Acronis alignment tool free from WD would detect misaligned partitions when they were not.So from my experience many have crappy gui's or a lack of features and some are sketchy and error prone (Acronis)no i don't work for them loland if you look around you can find Paragon stuff easily such as on FOSI's own web site and all his mirrors ;)most recent releases..Paragon-Hard.Disk.Manager-12-Server-v10.1.19.16240-&-Key-FOSIParagon-Hard.Disk.Manager-12-Suite-v10.1.19.16240-&-Key-P2Pas found on torrent sites recentlyOh and a better topic would be to seperate the FREE software from warez.. mixing the two is dumb i think.o well Edited January 31, 2013 by xpmule
xpmule
i hope you add more free soft in your list? where is emule? i see just xpMule  Well i didn't want to mention both..The xpmule project was started a looooong time agoIt's a Leecher MOD basiclly. It's a fully 64bit program unlike the real emule.I don't think people should be forced to share if they do not want to..Also i made a LOT of cosmetic changes and i think my mod looks better.I got the idea to offer more than one credit system years ago and i'm pretty sure i was the first guywho added that option for a leecher mod (mutiple's in options)So people can use the official credit system or Dazzle's inverse credit system.I also got permission straight from Dazzle for this on his forum years ago and added bug fixsfrom him and a few fans of his.. oh and other major highlights is i added country data and flag icons into the program everywhere.ed2k etc is pretty dead now a days but i could post the x86 version if needed (i need to reinstall VS 2010 though)And if people are interested i can post the full source code for the program too.It was a HUGE amount of work making a clean 64bit port because all the numerous 3rd party libs needed to be 64bitAND i try hard to make quality software.. i don't ignore 1,000's of warning in the compiler.. i fix every one of them.BUT this can cause warnings then in the 32bit build so it can be hell'ish to support both lol
