shought
When I used to do that I used LimeWire (before that Kazaa, but that's kind of dead now I believe).Ares is the 'next big thing' in downloading single MP3's, I believe. I just never used it.I'd recommend trying Limewire (or Frostwire) and Ares (they're all on our frontpage :)).

Administrator DKT27 Posted July 18, 2010 Administrator Share Posted July 18, 2010 Try beemp3.com. It's a sort of search engine for songs. Have downloaded many.
LeetPirate
I recommend eMule, the same thing you already use. I usually do the same thing you do, except I search for the entire album in zip or rar or another archive and I just keep the songs I want and delete the rest. I prefer to download the album in archives because the archive will have a descriptive indicating the quality and maybe a release group. Plus the size of the archive tells you something about the quality as well. I like eMule because of its wide array of technical options and I like that it also focuses on protocol obfuscation. As for high quality if I download flac or another lossless quality format I would normally convert it to WMA instead of MP3 because WMA is a superior format. I know most people don't like WMA for one or another reason but it has better channel separation than MP3 and that is enough for me to use it.I recommend dBPoweramp for converting, I even use it to rip my original CDs to WMA with 2-pass encoding, the quality is superb. dBpoweramp is on our frontpage, you can give it a try. Toshiro
Using google :)hehe, cause I listen to songs that are just released/leaked. Therefor you can't find them on limewire (or really hard) or other p2p programs.. :)
dumble
leepirate, i like emule a lot iv been using it for about 5years now.. but the search function is not so good (fake files, porn etc).. i use sharethefiles.com which is a index site with confirmed ed2k links, this way you are sure you are downloading the right stuff. if you cant find it, you can request it and next day someone will answer you.. great communityares seems to do a good job , just installed and downloaded 5 random songs with about 300kb-s.. ( it needs some configurations like disabling default choise for mp3 magnent and torrent files.. )
ck_kent
I used to use mIRC in downloading my mp3 files. I never got any trojans or fake mp3s before. I just log on to an undernet server and usually go to #mp3downloads, #mp3passion, #mp3country, etc. and use @find command to search for the artist/title of the song.
