nsane.forums
Handset weighs just 40.1g Modu has finally released its Modu 1 handset in the UK, a device which is recognised by Guinness World Records as the lightest phone on the planet. The Modu 1 weighs 40.1g, measures just 72.1mm x 37.6mm x 7.8mm, and comes with a 1.3in OLED display with 65,000 colours and a built-in speaker. The device features a 3.2-megapixel camera with 3.2x digital zoom, and Bluetooth 1.2 connectivity. It is also capable of doubling as a music player and a mass storage device as it has 2GB of internal memory. Users can modify the phone's design and features by inserting the Modu 1 into a 'jacket', the firm said. Online retailer PurelyGadgets is selling the Modu 1 exclusively for £129.99 and for a limited time will give customers £30 off a Modu jacket when purchased together. The jackets are usually priced between £30 and £50 and come in all shapes and sizes including night and sport versions. The device has been available in Israel for over a year, and could struggle to attract customers in the UK especially with the iPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy S and HTC Desire dominating the market. Atasas
To be honest- if small it is a failure to make it complicated... wouldn't deter me from having as a second one anyway
Alanon
Reminds me a lot of senior citizen type phones. BIG buttons, small screen, easy to use. Although, it's cool that it's so lite.
