It is not a tweaking/ optimization program, it is for customization. Windows 7 Quicky allows you to add an incredible number of useful shortcuts to your context menus. This program was made for Windows 7, but it also works on Vista and XP with limitations.

Great app! Would love to see Box add to the program the ability to add "create restore point" and "restore your computer to an earlier time" to one of the context menus.

System restore !?.

This is going to be hard. Let me research this.

Hi Box, Glad you noticed my post. I have no idea if this might be helpful but if you use the W7 "Godmode" (just google it if you haven't already got it set up on your machine), you can see nice shortcut links to the various system restore commands. I was thinking perhaps those shortcuts could be useful to you somehow in making your app able to offer the option to add these as additional context menu items. Just a thought . . ., I really have no idea if I'm totally off base here or not.

I have this one.

To create a "system restore point", I only know to get there by the System Properties >> System Protection.

Does Godmode link you directly to the "Create a restore point" without going through the System Protection?

Yes, Godmode puts you directly in system restore without going through system protection. It has a "restore your computer to an earlier time" shortcut under the "Action Center" heading and this shortcut is the same as clicking on "Recovery" under Control Panel.

Under the "System" section, it also has direct links to "Restore system files and settings from a restore point" and "Create a Restore Point."
