What's the existing image file extension?

What exactly do you wish to accomplish?

Well mostly jpg file formats..here's an attached picture.i would like it to scan and copy- paste the words and sentences in microsoft words or notepad.

OK, great - do you have Photoshop/Acrobat already installed in your system (just curious.)

The reason I asked was so you wouldn't need to install anything additional. In your circumstance, I suggest you launch a google search for 'jpeg to word converter'

There're plenty of freebies available that will serve your purpose.

The snipping tool wont serve your purpose since you need your end result to be editable, right. Check your document (linked below) - I've converted it using the most sophisticated equipment:-

Code: /0AF4L51UBT

You don't need to register. Just paste only the underlined strings onto your addressbar and download (your end result in editable form.) ;)

There are 2 different approaches to accomplish the above:-

01.) The simple & Noob way (the result wont permit you to edit everything) and

02.) The advanced way (most of the fields would be editable)

Let me know which approach suits you.

I suggest you try ABBYY FineReader. It's a commercial (not free) product but there's a fix :) I've used it to digitalize a lot of documents.

http://thepiratebay....2.105_Multilang

It is pretty big, 400 some MB.

that's huge man.it wont be downloaded even in a full day with my internet connection, let alone the loadsheddings here.something smaller in mind?:frusty:

 I use the quick & powerful 1-stop method i.e. through Adobe Acrobat (1.40 GBs compressed  ) which is also out of the question. For you, we'll use a lighter 2-stop method.

Firstly, you need a .jpeg to .pdf Converter (any one):-

TechSmith SnagIt (screenshot utility,) or

Foxit Reader Pro (.pdf reader & editor)

I suggest selecting one that would also fulfill your other computing needs.

Secondly, you need a .pdf to .doc/x Converter (any one):-

Able2Extract Professional, or

Solid PDF Converter, or

ABBYY PDF Transformer Pro

I suggest Able2Extract Professional - it's the most advanced in this category.

Snagit can capture using the "Copy text to clipboard" profile and then you can save this directly to .rtf (Rich Text Format) file format that you can edit in Microsoft Word and WordPad too. I don't think there's a need to save in PDF and then convert to DOC file formats.

Yeah Night Owl, you're absolutely right there - didn't offer that solution to him since he'd opted for the second option (the advanced option . . . . . . . . irrespective of the difficulty.) Have to admit though, if he'd opted for the first option my suggestion would've been same as yours. :)

I'd recommend just downloading ABBYY FineReader, might take you a day, but then you really got something :)
