I need more battery backup for my laptop so i was planning to buy a 12 cell lithium ion battery.I was wondering whether it would be rechargeable with the standard adapter provided with the laptop for charging a 6 cell lithium ion battery. The adapter outputs 90W(watts)-19V(volts).

If you buy an additional (external) one . . . . . . . . . . . . 'no.'

If it's a dedicated 12-cell one that's gonna be replacing your existing laptop battery . . . . . . . . 'yes.'
