mp68terr
Hi, I'm trying to completely reset an old iphone 6 that has not been used for years. It seems to be locked and itunes is not working to restore it. It's 100% charged now and as far as I know it can go into the recovery mode but nothing more. On top of the tutorials found on youtube, the trial version of Passfab iphone unlock has been tried, the firmware was downloaded but the software has to be bought in order to unlock the phone. Reiboot gives me a nice bsod when launched (install looked ok). This software considered the phone as an iphone 6, it's not written on the phone. Any idea, any registered software that I could use to completely reset this iphone? Thanks. Edit: typo. Edited June 16 by mp68terr
mp68terr
Reiboot finaly worked, as a trial version. Same bullshit as passfab software (maybe same code): detects the phone, downloads the firmware, then one has to buy it to continue without any proof that it will work.
