Lisa Duerner
Whats the difference between de-de_SW_DVD9_Win_Srv_STD_CORE_2025_24H2.20_64Bit_German_DC_STD_MLF_X24-31274.iso and de-de_windows_server_2025_updated_may_2026_x64_dvd_adcb5eb0.iso ? Maybe someone here has info about this ? Thanks Lisa
Solution Lexionline Posted May 25 Solution Share Posted May 25 (edited) They’re basically the same Windows Server 2025 release family, but packaged differently. de-de_SW_DVD9_Win_Srv_STD_CORE_2025_24H2.20_64Bit_German_DC_STD_MLF_X24-31274.iso = Original/base Windows Server 2025 German ISO (RTM/VLSC-style media) de-de_windows_server_2025_updated_may_2026_x64_dvd_adcb5eb0.iso = Newer refreshed ISO with updates integrated up to May 2026. Main difference: The second ISO already includes many security and cumulative updates. The first ISO requires more updates after installation. You can use the May 2026 updated ISO unless you specifically need the original untouched release media. Edited May 25 by Matt Removed whole quote.
