Hello folks, few days back i tried to copy a file from my Ext HDD and i was using Total Commander for it.

After few minutes of copy it show an error cyclic redundancy error. Although the file didn't get copied.

No problem in that. As i can re-download that file again.

Please the snapshot.

I h' a software for that Drevitalize331, but it shows some marker that are difficult to understand. So what would u suggest me.

Go for simple chkdsk. I don't trust that. Once a Disc show such error, i heard it spreads to other sector as well.

I h' a 6TB Ext HDD. Any suggestion is welcomed.

Did you check SMART data of your drive. Does it show increase in relocated sectors count or pending relocated sectors count in it.

the bigger the HDD the longer it takes to check everything because it needs to check all sectors if SMART and other things are ok.

Download DiskGenius 6.0.1.1645 RePack & Portable by 9649:

Like on most online forums the use of the 'Like / Thanks' button is preferred over simply posting 'Thanks' or something similar. Making an excessive number of posts which add little to nothing to a topic might result in a post count reduction.

"Thank you" post is removed now, so we hope this won't occur once again. Also, registering more than one account is not allowed.
