I am puzzled by this giveaway.

The app is supposed to be free.

 

However following this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=alarm.clock.calendar.reminder.pro
 
The app is supposed to be paid.

 

I installed first the one which shows to be free and when launching it, a pop-up says that I need to buy the app if I want to use it.

 

I installed from the other link and the same pop-up shows.

 

Then I downloaded the .apk file from both links and both the behavior and the checksum are the same.

 

Is this a giveaway or not?

 

Any idea why this happens?
