Karlston
The Pete Davidson Show and The White House will make their debuts on Netflix this month. Image: Netflix Netflix is launching its first pair of original video podcasts, hosted by Saturday Night Live alum Pete Davidson and NFL commentator and former star Michael Irvin. While The Pete Davidson Show makes its debut on January 30th, you can find Irvin’s The White House on the streaming service on January 19th. The two shows will join Netflix’s growing slate of video podcasts that it has licensed from Spotify, iHeartMedia, and Barstool Sports, including My Favorite Murder, The Bill Simmons Podcast, and Pardon My Take. As part of these deals, the shows licensed by Netflix can’t appear in their entirety on YouTube, which has grown to become the biggest platform for podcasts. Bloomberg first reported on Netflix’s plans to create its own podcasts last year. The Pete Davidson Show will put out new episodes every Friday, featuring Davidson and guests inside his garage having “candid, no-holds-barred conversations.” Netflix says it will reveal Davidson’s first guests and more details about the show soon. Irvin, who spent over a decade as a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, will host The White House with a rotating cast of cohosts and guests, including former NFL pro Brandon Marshall, who will also produce the show. The White House, named for the mythic party house Irvin ran during his NFL heyday, will air two episodes per week. Source Hope you enjoyed this news post. Feedback welcome.
