jvidal
this is like 3 weeks old. I don't know why they are posting it now. If you already downoaded it on 19/11, then don't bother. it's the same version.
Administrator Matt Posted December 7, 2025 Administrator Share Posted December 7, 2025 @jvidal This is how the developers release it. They release it as beta for 3 weeks and then they mark it and stable release. For instance, they released a new beta version v1.2.5.0 8 hours ago, and it will be the same version as stable in few weeks. Release Version 1.2.5.0 (Beta) · fxsound2/fxsound-app We only post it whenever it's a stable release.
jvidal
version 1.2.4 was released as stable 3 weeks ago...
Administrator Matt Posted December 7, 2025 Administrator Share Posted December 7, 2025 @jvidal reread what I said above because it seems you did not or you did not understand what I was saying. 5 hours ago, jvidal said: version 1.2.4 was released as stable 3 weeks ago... Not entirely correct. It was released three weeks ago as a beta, and just yesterday it was marked as stable. As I mentioned earlier, this is how the developer team operates: they release a version like 1.2.5.0 as a beta, and after a few weeks, if no issues arise, they simply mark it as stable or release another beta. jvidal
I downloaded it as stable three weeks ago. Anyway, this isn't going anywhere, so I'm gonna leave it up to here. Edited December 7, 2025 by jvidal
Administrator Matt Posted December 7, 2025 Administrator Share Posted December 7, 2025 1 hour ago, jvidal said: I downloaded it as stable three weeks ago. Again, they do NOT have the version numbers inside the software settings > Help marked as BETA nor STABLE. It's just v1.2.4.0 even if you go ahead and download the new beta version v1.2.5.0 I mentioned above, go again to settings > Help and you will notice it does NOT mention it's BETA. In few weeks they will just mark it on their Github account as stable if there are no issues arise. Basically, they will NOT create a new setup file. funkyy
