@jvidal I do not use it, but there's a new feature in this version "DNS over HTTPS" try to enable it or disable it if it's already enabled by default.

No, mine pulls in email from my Microsoft & Google email accounts without issue.

after a lot of tinkering and whatnot, I'm only having problems with hotmail, but not only in thunderbird. I can't even connnect uing the browser, I get "connection refused", no matter wht I use, be it firefox, opera, vivaldi, etc.

anybody ese having trouble with hotmail/outlook.com/live.com??

I'm getting either "connection refused" or "insecure connection" and something about HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), so I can't connect because it requires a secure connection. anybody else seeing this?

update: it seems to be a DNS issue. I changed my default DNS servers to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (GOOGLE DNS SERVERS) and now i can connect...weird.

update2: some strange DNS server crept its way into my router, i don't know how or why, but removing it solved the problem.
