Advise me an SSD

Greetings. I am looking forward to upgrade my old HP laptop, which currently contains a 1TB Seagate SSHD, to a 1TB SSD. I have identified the following SSDs on Amazon and would greatly appreciate your guidance on which option would be the most suitable for medium to high computing tasks, including some video editing: 

 

1. Crucial BX500 1TB 
2. Crucial MX500 1TB 
3. Samsung EVO 870 
4. WD Green SATA 1TB 
5. WD Blue SA510 

Please note that items 2 and 3 are nearly double the cost of the other options.

Crucial MX500 1TB  is highly regarded, as you said you pay more, Pretty hard to get a MX500 these days

I'm sure there are several technical considerations that can be done for each of those SSD's, one thing that you may want to check is the warranty! from your list the MX500, WD Blue SA510 and EVO 870 have a 5 years warranty.

It's 5 years or the maximum TBW! Which is 400 TBW according to the MX500 data sheet.

@lurch234 All the SSD's warranty specify a max TBW.

 

The Crucial BX500 have only a 3 years warranty.

And why are you mentioning the BX500? I was only referring to the MX500. One of the three you said had 5 yr warranty

i have been using a crucial mx500 256gb for approximately 6 years without any issue. i too think from the list this is the best bet.

dont buy crucial BX they are on worst memory chip compared to MX

pick mx if you wanna go crucial.. looks like you aim the most worst budged disk usual i recoment pick more better alernative .. but ofc price will rise up.
