If I run an anti virus or spyware scan do I turn the program off....E used East tech Eraster and Privacy eraser as well.. Does it need to be turn off for updates ie windows updates or updates dealing with other programs- Super-Anti Spware, Malwarebytes etc.Gave the program a try... Turned the program off, and jot an error message telling me to run a check disk scan...Ran it and came up with many errors showing on my computer..... Also shut down my internet security program. removed it. I have the boot turned on said it was protected turned it off ran the scan that's is when all the problems came up. Thanks. If that would not have happened I would have kept it.. It was fine in the virtual mode I went to turn it off and started getting error messages. Restarted the computer, ran the scan dish and the scan fixed the errors that had been caused. I had run the scan the day before and it came back with no errors.
