Karlston
DC Studios’ Man of Tomorrow will hit theaters on July 9th, 2027. Warner Bros. Pictures James Gunn has been coy about his plans for a follow-up to this year’s excellent Superman movie, but the writer / director is finally sharing some concrete news about what’s next for the Man of Steel. Gunn announced in an Instagram post today that the Superman sequel will be titled Man of Tomorrow and hit theaters on July 9th, 2027. The Instagram post included a Jim Lee illustration of Superman and Lex Luthor in one of his Warsuits, which could mean we’ll be seeing David Corenswet fighting Nicholas Hoult in a ridiculous armored suit. And it seems as if DC Studios might have taken the original subtitle of its upcoming Supergirl feature and reworked it for the star of its new cinematic universe. funkyy
@Karlston Well, I watched until halfway through the first James Gunn version and I have to confess I was underwhelmed. It tried too hard to emulate Marvel's ability to fill out their individual characters with solid emotional dialogue that made each character an individual with personal problems, feelings and worries. I'll probably have another look at Gunn's Superman, but until now I'm not "excited" about the proposed sequel.
